A sash window pull handle is used for opening and closing a traditional hung sash window, most commonly found in period properties. These handles can be fitted to either the top or bottom sash panels to aid in pulling them down or up.
Sash windows are comprised of two glazed panels that slide over one another using a pulley system. Sliding sash windows can be opened at the top or the bottom for ventilation purposes.
