The inspiration for the Frank Lloyd Wright Winslow Light Screen Topaz Earrings design comes from The Winslow House, Wright’s first realized commission as an independent architect at the age of 26. In 1936, Wright described it as “the first prairie house”. In it he created “light screens” or stained glass windows that integrated the design theme throughout the house.
